Having trained together in the local building industry, friends Ian Burfitt and Steve Garrett established Burfitt & Garrett Ltd in the early 1980s, with the aim of providing a high-quality, personalised local building service.
Today, the team has grown to over thirty tradesmen and ten office staff, we have earned a good reputation for our reliable, efficient and personal building services.
Many members of our experienced team have been with us for over a decade passing on their skills to our students who are on apprenticeship schemes.
We work on projects of all sizes from new build houses, restoration works on listed buildings of varying sizes and extensions right through to small works and maintenance tasks.
We are proud to be recommended by local estate agents and architects and to have undertaken projects for valued clients including the National Trust, local rural Estates, Schools and Councils and, importantly, much repeat works for private clients.
